with DCD Workshop
Lets turn understanding into action!
Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) previously called dyspraxia, affects the way children learn and carry out motor skills. With the right strategies, progress is possible.
In this interactive workshop you will:
-
Gain a clear understanding of what DCD is and how it impacts daily life, learning and wellbeing.
-
Learn about neuroplasticity and what makes therapy effective.
-
Learn the MATCH strategy. A practical, step-by-step approach to teaching new skills in ways that work.
-
Work through real-life examples (you bring the skill your child is working on!) and leave with tailored strategies you can use at home.
This small group workshop is designed to be practical, supportive and empowering. Giving you tools to help your child build confidence and independence in everyday life.
Next available Workshop 23rd October 2025 5-7:30pm

Hi, I'm Maria
Occupational Therapist and Carer

I’m an Occupational Therapist with over 20 years’ experience working with children and families. My journey has been shaped not only by my professional path but also by personal experience, when our son was diagnosed with autism at age three, I gained deep insight into the challenges and joys of family life. After many years in community and private practice, I founded my own clinic in 2017 to offer family-centred, relationship and strengths based therapy. I’m passionate about helping parents feel confident, connected, and empowered to support their child’s growth, learning, and everyday success.
Don't miss out on turning understanding into action!
Our October 23rd workshop is filling fast.
