Be prepared before a medical emergency
This practical, hands-on workshop helps families and professionals create a 1‑page emergency and medical support plan for neurodivergent children. Designed to be completed in one session, the workshop guides participants to clearly outline communication needs, sensory supports, and strategies that help children feel safe and supported in medical settings.
Participants leave with a ready-to-use plan suitable for emergency departments, GP visits, hospital admissions, and medical procedures, along with ideas for shorter and extended versions. The focus is on preparation, clarity, and confidence - empowering families and professionals to support children effectively when it matters most.
Hi, I'm Maria
Occupational Therapist and Carer

I’m an Occupational Therapist with over 20 years’ experience working with children and families. My journey has been shaped not only by my professional path but also by personal experience, when our son was diagnosed with autism at age three, I gained deep insight into the challenges and joys of family life. After many years in community and private practice, I founded my own clinic in 2017 to offer family-centred, relationship and strengths based therapy. I’m passionate about helping parents feel confident, connected, and empowered to support their child’s growth, learning, and everyday success.
